CLASSIC HONDAS ON THE DRAGON IX

Over the years, a small group of 80's Honda enthusiasts (specifically of the first generation CRX and third generation Civic) banded together, primarily through the RedPepperRacing forum, to exchange ideas and parts, as well as show of their builds.  Their collective passion for these fun and inexpensive cars triggered the creation of the Classic Hondas on the Dragon event.  

The brainchild of founder Stephen Dettman of the GENONE Blog, CHD began with a small group of enthusiasts from the southeast region of the United States, who enjoyed not only each other's cars and company, but fantastic fall weather, local cuisine, and the wonderful driving roads in and around western North Carolina and eastern Tennessee.  However small, the group enjoyed themselves very much, and after sharing their adventures on social media, word of the event spread quickly causing a dramatic increase in attendance for the following year's event, including 6 first generation CRX's.  The next year's event shared the same success bringing in even more classic Honda enthusiasts.  As we approach the event's ninth year, we are excited to see what is in store for this Honda-crazed community.  Even though this event was founded by enthusiasts of 80's Hondas, we love all classic Hondas and welcome anyone who owns and/or loves them.  We hope you decide to join this great group of folks and their beloved cars on some of the best driving roads in the United States.
